Indications
:
Severe Malaria including Cerebral Malaria and as a second line drug in Chloroquine resistant Malaria.
Dosage
:

For IM use only. Total dose should not exceed 480mg for adults and 9.6mg/kg in children. Adult: 1 ampoule containing 80mg twice a day by IM raoute (160mg/day) for the 1st day followed by 1 ampoule containing 80mg once a day by IM route for the next 4 days. Children: 1.6mg/kg body weight.
